I saw another news report on the new Boondocks firearms facility at Raymond, MS this week, and was less than impressed because the report indicated that they are teaching students to keep their guns unloaded until they’re “ready to use it.” This advice supposedly came during a class to qualify students for the MS enhanced concealed carry license, and was not a general gun safety class.
I would suggest that if you know when you’re going to use your defensive firearm, then just don’t attend that fight, and that if you don’t know when you will need it, you probably won’t then have an opportunity to load and make ready before you die.
We will have a special edition newsletter in the future dedicated to thoughts on gun schools and instructors.
Caveat emptor.
