ATF Director B. Todd Jones has informed Attorney General Eric Holder he plans to resign, effective March 31, to take a job as a lawyer for the anti-gun NFL, where he will undoubtedly try to ban bullet passes. Deputy Director Thomas Brandon will serve as Acting Director.
Among Jones’ achievements was an attempt to give local sheriffs the ability to ban legal NFA firearms in their jurisdictions, as well as proposing an illegal ban on some of the most popular ammunition in the US.
