We have a report that an 11-year-old North St. Louis County, MO boy who was home alone Thursday afternoon with his 4-year-old sister fatally shot a 16-year-old intruder when he and an accomplice, also 16, broke through the front door. One pistol shot to the head, and DRT. The accomplice was fired at and later arrested. The pair had attempted breaking into the home twice before the same day.
There is a conflicting report that indicates the shooter and deceased argued and the shooting took place on the front porch.
The shooter’s mother is apparently in trouble for leaving the kids home alone, and leaving the gun unsecured.
Meanwhile in MS this week, a 10-year-old boy home alone with his 5-year-old sister accidentally shot her in the upper chest/spine with a .22 pistol. She is expected to make a full recovery.
