A new Gallup poll conducted this month shows that 49% of Americans consider the federal government “an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens.”
Meanwhile, a new Rasmussen poll indicates that only 36% of likely voters think the federal government should be involved in gun control, 69% think it would be bad for the country if only the government had guns, and 68% would feel safer living in a neighborhood where they can own a gun rather than in one where a gun ownership ban is in place.
Well, duh.
