A man opened fire during the morning church service at Oasis Tabernacle Church in East Selma, AL last Sunday, shooting and wounding his girlfriend, his 1-month-old son and a pastor who tried to intervene. Apparently unarmed congregants disarmed the man, who then ran away and was later arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder.
I suggest that unarmed bystanders should not be your first choice for defense against armed homicidal attackers.
