List of 72 types of Americans that are considered to be “extremists” and “potential terrorists” in official U.S. government documents. I think I fit about 42 of these, so I guess y’all better watch out for the likes of me.
Yes, the media are out to get us:
CNN commentator and activist Sally Kohn lied this week about the number of children killed with guns in an op-ed calling for more gun control.
The Pew Research Center reported last week that the US murder rate was cut nearly in half from 7 per 100,000 in 1993 to 3.6 per 100,000 in 2013. Over the same period, overall “gun deaths” (including accidents and suicides) have fallen by one-third from 15.2 to 10.6 per 100,000. In spite of this, Pew reports, the American public believes that homicides and gun deaths are increasing in the United States. Because, media.
And so are the World Wide Web giants.
Domino’s Pizza. It’s happened again.
Jacksonville, FL, sheriff’s officers say a Domino’s delivery driver was delivering pizzas when he was approached by two armed men, demanding money. The victim grabbed his own gun and shot one of the suspects, seriously wounding him. An independent “crime and safety expert” says that “This is a clear case of self-defense. This person was working and was approached by two armed men,” and that if the suspect who was shot happens to die from his injuries, the second suspect could be charged with murder, even if he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger.
Of course Domino’s will likely fire the victim, because they prefer dead employees.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has proposed bans on lead ammunition in some state wildlife management areas and for hunting rails and snipe statewide.
Gun control advocate threatens pro-gun politician.
Of course the anti-gunners say the victim is overreacting by reporting the threat, while the perpetrator, a Bloomberg minion, has since apologized in a move to keep the feud from poisoning the larger Bloomberg gun ban effort. I’m guessing if you’re a gun-banner, an apology will keep you from getting arrested.
